Steeped in over 500 years of history, The Vault offers a truly distinctive setting for your event. The room accommodates up to 60 guests for a seated meal or 100 guests for a standing reception, making it ideal for a wide range of celebrations and gatherings.

Room hire is £200 for up to 6 hours and includes a staff member to open the bar for groups of over 50 guests. For smaller groups, the bar can be opened for an additional £50. Catering must be included as part of your booking (please see our Functions page for menu options). For health and safety reasons, outside food is not permitted, with the exception of a celebration cake.

You are welcome to arrange your own DJ, live singer, or band to enhance your event. Over the years, The Vault has hosted an array of occasions, including the Sole Cellar for the Alresford Music Festival, meetings, conferences, engagements, weddings, 21+ birthday celebrations, baby showers, and christenings.

We can provide a screen and flip chart on request. A separate bar is available for functions with more than 50 guests. For an extra touch of nostalgia, you can also hire our Vintage Jukebox for £150, featuring a selection of CDs and an auxiliary connection for mobile devices or MP3 players.
